Boudha is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Kathmandu (near Bodhanath Stupa). I’m visiting local hotspots for THREE must try foods of Boudha. It’s said the foods of Boudha are distinct to the neighborhood.

My second favorite top food of Boudha and top “foodie experience of Nepal”— Thukpa, an insanely long, thick, spongey and tasty Tibetan noodle dish in Nepal. This thukpa is almost lethal.

Note: This veg thukpa is either a modification at this restaurant or possible they just gave me the popular dish of the shop. Everyone was eating this. I’m wondering if it’s not chowmein. Either way, there is a soupier version- the ingredients look similar.
