2 days trying to get this Word Press Download to come up!! When following Rafy's directions, this method does not create a wp-config.php file!! So you can never bring Word Press up on your computer! Perhaps the latest release doesn't work in the same manner! I notice that I have downloaded a much more recent release. After 2 solid days, it's time to move on. The software is free (Word Press) but heaven help you if you need any support! I installed and removed all of these files 3 times, with absolutely no luck! Same exact error message! "There has been a critical error on this website" ALSO (and I like Rafy, this is just a suggestion from my experience with a problem install) >> Since I'm very familiar with this 2nd tutorial after spending hours viewing it, I would make suggestions for future videos. stop talking after each step, so there is time to stop the video., so you can type in the info, change the screen, or whatever you need to do. It's horrible having to back up the video a zillion times and relisten to parts you've heard 30 times! The past two days have given me the impression that Free Software means that there is no support! The entire reason that people will use a product like Word Press, is that you don't need to be a programmer to use it! the other thing I don't like from my experience with Word Press, is that when you have it hosted, there is no separate development and production environments! I wanted to download this to my desktop, so that I could build my website at home without having it published. I believe a site should come up in it's final stage where everything works!
